CNN’s Jeffrey Toobin: Supreme Court Afraid of The Daily Show

*Not a fan of Toobin, yet this was funny...I think he is correct. lol

Discussing his latest piece in the New Yorker magazine, CNN legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin scolded the United States Supreme Court for continuing to refuse to allow television cameras into that body during oral arguments. Toobin told CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer that he has a theory as to why the Court will not allow television cameras in during proceedings: they do not want to be made the butt of comedian Jon Stewart’s jokes.

“Why don’t they have cameras there so we can watch these justices go about their business?” Blitzer asked Toobin.

“Wolf, I can answer that question in two words,” Toobin replied. “Jon Stewart.”

It sounds like something he'd say too. I have read two of his book on the US Supreme Court and both gave an interesting look at the personalities of the justices. They also made me hate Scalia and Thomas. I don't always agree with him.

calling out Thomas as " not paying attention "..that was damaging for him to hear from an attorney
in the MSM.

Kudos for that, it was awesome.

And I think Scalia is hanging on by a thread. He'll be 78 next month. I can't see him making it to 80. Eventually he's going to have a massive heart attack. I just hope Ginsberg hangs in there.

Justice Ginsburg would be dead in a matter on months?
Who even knows or cares what Jim Bunning is doing today?
