(I know a lot of people are tired with all the threads) One thing that has come up in my thought process We hear that he was living with his parents in that gated community but I've seen very little about his parents.
It makes me wonder could they have some hand in why this man with a record was able to "walk away" after shoot Trayvon?

(61,690 posts)Another source I read said that Robert Zimmerman is an attorney, but I can't find that source again.
Robert Zimmerman hand-delivered a letter to the Miami paper about a week ago defending his son. It's a little suspicious that there is so little information available about him. How about some investigative reporting.

(53,661 posts)They claim there was no racism involved, as their son identified himself as not being 'white,' but instead a POC.
Trimming this all down, there appears to have been a racial element. And after centuries of blacks being terrorized in this country, there is no escaping that concern.
Regardless of race, if one tries to play it that way, the fact remains that the guy seemed to have a problem with blacks. And his actions were wrong and he began the problem.
And he's being protected by the system in Sanford. That's a huge problem, but not as big as stalking and murder.

(53,661 posts)They said they were afraid for him. I can't claim to know, other than what has been printed here.
Even that is not really 'knowing.' This needs to come to court, and soon.

(4,310 posts)nothing about his family. Also wondering what the local media is doing to investigate this case.
In my area there would be media vans shoving their mics in the families face or at the very least
knocking on their door asking questions.
Secondly, people are tired of the threads? This murder is fundamentally important on so many levels.
I can't understand how anyone could feel that way. I just watch Al Sharpton interviewing Trayvon's
parents and it was profoundly disturbing to hear many of the details regarding how they've been treated and
how close this man has come to getting away with cold blooded murder with the PD being complicit.
Try to catch Sharpton's interview if you're following this case.
