Michael Dunn and the hung jury on 1st degree murder..

He claimed there was a gun in the car, which no one else saw. The kids took off came right back after the incident, again no gun found in the car.

Perhaps the police did not present the kind of due diligence on the gun not being found to convince the jury100%.. Did they bring in metal detecters to scan the area where the car temporarily parked?
Did they bring in teams of searchers?... I’m just saying..

At least one person on that jury apparently believed Dunn was in fear for his life and would not be dissuaded.

The police could certainly have done a better job in their search. I'm not sure at what point they learned that Dunn believed there was a gun. Were it not for someone taking down his license #, he might still be walking free and still would not have told his fiancée he thought he saw a gun.

them that the gun was imaginary.
But Dunn took a few days to concoct the story- his fault for running and hiding.

Of the rooftop. One of the detectives on the stand pointed out they did so because they figured the defense would ask.

The cops did their job. This crew had to deal with a dead kid and an SUV with a lot of bullet holes in it. They did the best they could. And so did John Guy.

Just saying . . .
