Could this be explanation for our country's huge deficit?

Of course, other explanations for deficit are the wealthiest Americans not paying their fair share of taxes and the Wallstreet Bailout - Corporate Welfare.
But when you listen to Repubs, you'd think it was Obamacare or education or social security.

The Repubs would just love to see people go without health care, education, or social security to feed the war monster.

They need their war porn.

2. Don't forget foreign aid!

right-wingers make it seem like we are giving tons of money to foreign countries and that if we just cut all that aid out, then that would significantly drive down the deficit. They say they care about the deficit but the things that they want to cut out or reduce significantly are essentially "nickels and dimes" compared to what we pay for a bloated, oversized military that hasn't actually had to defend our borders from invasion since, what, about 1812?

3. apparently you missed the reasons

they are, not in any general categorical or alphabetical order: Social Security (that pittance)
Medicare (too damn many sick old people)
Food Stamps (tis better for the poor to starve)
Public Education (only the rich & religious deserve
to learn)

There are many other sundry reasons for our deficit but the war monster would never be one of them.

the amount that planned parenthood is getting for driveby abortions and the doctor fees that are astronomical allowing them to buy 2015 Mercedes Benz stretch limos.
