Santorum: Mixed Blessing

Crazy Santorum is still in the race for who gets to lose to Obama in November. Here is why this situation is both a curse and a blessing.

Blessing: Santorum's consistent craziness, and his desire to double-down on the craziness, is hurting the Republican chances and damaging Mittens. This is an awesome thing.

Curse: As Santorum appears to have a legitimate shot at the nomination, Im afraid people will think his views should be considered normal and will be earnestly discussed and debated in the US. Normalizing craziness is not cool. We may have to deal with these ideas on a national stage for some time.

That's my view on the race.

At the very least.

They're not expanding. To the contrary. They belong to another age... which is shrinking in numbers.
