If I encountered that sort of thing (on an online application process, anyway), I'd be sorely tempted to link to a nice, loud goatze "I'm looking at gay porno" page...or maybe some virus-infested Russian kiddie porn site. It's not like I'd actually work for a company that did that sort of thing...

were not allowed--and reminded them loudly that such questions were not allowed. would do the same thing today (even though I don't have any social media accounts) because this is beyond unacceptable. like you, I would not work for such a company.
