Our storm is to hit PA tonight. Last I heard, our area will get 9-12 inches of snow, with higher amounts in some areas. The ice is forecast for Monday to Tuesday.

Stay warm!

It took out about 20% of an old, 60' maple in my back yard. I have no doubt that 1" would have taken down the whole tree, and probably some others with it.

Stay safe, people.

With their resources I'm sure the greens will be fine. Members must be ticked with a closed course but that can't be helped.

The grounds may not.
There are/were many trees there and some are very old. If a lot of them come down.....

I know they can clear them but that is more than a minor change.

They never should have Tiger-proofed the course. Love the course but there is little Dr. Mackenzie left.

They shouldn't have made it longer. They should have changed the bunkers, the rough, and other things.

The medical school is in Augusta, though she has been doing quarters in Savannah and Brunswick hospitals switching between them all.

Augusta may have been staffing up at Augusta, moving some of the med students FROM Savannah and she went to help. She's in her final semester at medical school.
