Instead of anguished exhortations begging Hillary not to run for president,

why not simply vote against her in the primary, if you don't want her to be the Democratic candidate? Then if enough primary voters agree with you, your wish will come true!

I trust the primary voters to pick the best candidate. They got it right in 2008, and 2004, and 2000, and in 1992. I think they got it wrong in 1988 (Gephardt or Gore would have been better than Dukakis) but most of the time they get it right.

The more candidates the merrier, and let the best man or woman win.

Who would you choose between Cuomo and Hillary?

or Biden, Cuomo and Hillary?


or Schweitzer, Biden, Cuomo, Hillary?


In a field of men, I will tend to choose the woman because men have had 44 chances to screw things to hell and gone. Also, none of them are much different policywise. As I see them, Schweitzer is to the right of Hillary, Biden a little to the left, and Cuomo about the same.
