Zimmerman case going to a grand jury.......

IMO this is an easy way for the local prosecutor to let Zimmerman off.

The grand jury only sees the evidence that the prosecutor wants to present.

If the prosecutor wants the jury to hold the suspect for trail, they will present evidence to make the Grand Jury vote that way.

If the prosecutor does not want charges, they will present evidence and witnesses that show it was self defense.

The grand jury is basically a rubber stamp for the prosecutor. No one but him gets to pick witnesses or present evidence.

I have my doubts that anything will happen to Zimmerman unless the Feds get involved.

Mounting pressure in Trayvon Martin case succeeds in prompting a federal probe as well as an investigation by a state grand jury.

He is not going to have a good day for the rest of his life. Even if the locals
don't prosecute the DOJ will on civil rights charges. He will spend a longtime
in prison and doubtful if he will ever get out ..... Florida might bring murder 1
charges against him too.

20. FL Grand Juries can initiate their own investigation
Tue Mar 20, 2012, 09:53 PM
Mar 2012

From the link above:

[div class='excerpt'] The grand jury in addition to the duty of formally indicting those charged with crime has the further important duty of making investigations on its own initiative, which it will report as a "presentment." This duty permits investigation of how public officials are conducting their offices and discharging their public trusts. The grand jury may investigate as to whether public institutions are being properly administered and conducted. It has the power to inspect those institutions and, if necessary, may call before the grand jury those in charge of the operations of public institutions as well as any other person who has information and can testify concerning them.

Basically, the GJ gets to rake everyone over the coals.

Although FOX viewers may not know the name Zimmerman at all, he does have a first name. You need to put George Zimmerman. I would even go so far as to add a moniker, "fucking coons", so that news articles would read George "Fucking Coons" Zimmerman. It was perceptive of Cenk's TYT listeners to pick this up on the 911 tape, but now it needs to be repeated. How are we going to know what we are dealing with here if we forget the "fucking coons" part of Zimmerman's rant?

I dare say the prosecutor would have a hard time showing self defense if they included that at every mention of his name.

It is the *one* chance most folks have to rake the cops and DAs over the coals.

Unless the DA and cops flat out lie and deny that such-and-such evidence exists, they're in for a world of hurt.

21. This HAS to be some kind of line in the sand: "We're all Trayvon Martin Now!!! NEVER again!!!"

It makes my head hurt to try to imagine a more transparently obvious hate crime,
short of lynching or dragging by car.

Hell, in this case, there are very vivid audio recordings of about ten 911 calls to report
that Trayvon was being murdered, and for help from police. One has Trayvon screaming
and crying out "HELP!!" in the background ... then you hear two gun shots ... PLUS the
girlfriend's testimony, that Trayvon was worried, running away, scared for his life, etc.
hardly the kind of persona that the Zimmerman apologists are trying to paint in the
public's mind.

Seriously this case HAS to go viral and draw a line in the sand for these NRA racist nut-
jobs. At least the KKK had to hide under white sheets; whereas this guy is still strutting
around no doubt bragging about having murdered an unarmed harmless 17 year old boy.
