Watch my son being arrested in Zucotti Park NYC St Patrick's Day

&feature=player_embedded

His name is Benjamin Brian Allen and he layed his body on the gears of the machine. He is the handsome guy the police assault at the 4 minute mark. Most those arrested were bonded out on recognizance Saturday night on the condition they submit to a retinal scan. Ben refused and was only bailed in the last 24 hours. He has a lawyer and intends to sue the city. I am proud as Hell!

He's a brave and determined young man--no wonder you're so proud!

brings up this:
It appears that his third term in office will be over in 2012. However it is uncertain if he will run again.
In the fall of 2008, Bloomberg successfully campaigned for an amendment to New York City's term-limits law, in order to allow him to run for a third term in 2009. Bloomberg won the election on November 3, 2009.
Therefore, he could run again in 2012 for a forth three-year term as mayor.

2 counts of disorderly conduct and one count of resisting arrest-I guess he was disorderly the second time in how he fell in the grasp of multiple cops.

Do they really think this is the city we want?

I'm calling my representatives - this is unacceptable.

...despite your understandable pride. Hope he's okay.
Cops are just acting like brownshirts these days... disgusting.
They've utterly destroyed any positive image that may have once existed
for our domestic police force. Hope that fat xmas bonus is worth it to 'em...

Hats off to your son, and my very best to both of you!
