ABC Exclusive: Witness states Trayvon was stalked and executed by Zimmerman!

In the final moments of his life, Trayvon Martin was being hounded by a strange man on a cellphone who ran after him, cornered him and confronted him, according to the teenage girl whose call logs show she was on the phone with the 17-year-old boy in the moments before neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman shot him dead.

Martin's death Feb. 26 has stirred national outrage and protests, partly prompting the U.S. Justice Department's Civil Rights Division and the FBI to open an investigation into the case.

ABC News was there exclusively as the 16-year-old girl told Martin family attorney Benjamin Crump about the last moments of the teenager's life.

..that "there is no racism in the south."

I think lots of people here get upset about south-bashing and implying that there is no racism in other parts of the country. I think you are being disingenuous, and I think you are doing it on purpose.

I used to work for a window and door installerIn my state of oregon. I never saw any blatant racism here. Then my co. asked me to go to nashville office and work out of there .I spent the whole month down there meeting and working for homeowners in alabama.Every Home i went to in someway voiced their predudice.one fellow took me to his barn and on the inside wall was a big sign that had to be taken down from the main street entrance to colman Alabama. It read "Dont let us catch your black ass here after dark" seriously ,I never met a more ignorant backwards people in my life . Another time I was having trouble removing this heavy awning over a door i needed to install.Usually when out of town or away from a central office we were told to go to the nearest home depot or such and hire a worker to help you . I did and i offered a big black guy 20.00 to help me remove it .When i got back and started to set up to remove the awning the homeowner comes out with a gun and tells the dude to start running or he was going to shoot him right on the spot. The guy didnt ask any questions he just turned and ran. I packed up my shit .told the homeowner he was on his own .I got in my pickup
Told him the co. would contact him later . On the way out of town i was stopped by his brother in law and thrown in jail because i couldnt show him a permit for the work i was doing . The next day my manager traveled down to show the permit and get me out of jail. Upon my release the sherrif told my boss not to send any ni--ers to his brotherinlaws house ever again. I have been all over the world with the marine corp and i have never been to anyplace that was so at its core so full, of hate and ignorance . When i read a post saying not all people are racist in the south. My reaction is if they are not racist then how do they put up with living in that enviroment.

I don't recall anyone here saying that there is no racism in the south. Maybe you ran across one bonehead but the word "some" implies more than one.

I'm from the South. I live here. It is racists as hell. So is Boston. This country still has a sick, racists element that is infused throughout.

Zimmerman needs to be arrested and the cops held accountable for their (in)actions.

The guy got out of his SVU and began to pursue the kid. The kid was afraid of his following him and began to walk quickly away or run away and Zimmerman got out and begins to pursue him on foot. The 911 operator told him he didn't need to be doing that. The Neighborhood Watch rules say not to do that. They may have had a scuffle when he caught up with him--why not? if I were Trayvon I would have been scared having some guy pursuing me and fought back, too. Then it is Zimmerman who kills the kid with a gun because HE felt threatened! Give me a break.

eviscerate Zimmerman's claim that he felt threatened. He didn't "stand his ground." He pursued and murdered this young man.

in the last graph...

"According to Chris Tutko, the director of the National Neighborhood Watch program, there are about 22,000 registered watch groups nationwide, and Zimmerman was not part of a registered group, which police were not aware of at the time of the incident."
