12. Thirty years ago there was an Equal Rights Amendment to the U.S. Constitution that almost passed....

What killed the E.R.A.? A ridiculously large percent of women who wanted to continue to be treated "special". Feminism will win a few battles, but there are too many of the female gender that would prefer to destroy other females than fight for equality. At least that has been my over 50 years of observations.

Today's conservative Republicans, in creating their own demise, are offending women with belligerent frequency. The insults and insinuations just keep on coming. The smirk and swagger with which the depredations are delivered indicate a determination to cling to the last vestiges of the illusion of the superiority of one gender over another. Women, being sentient and sensible, see no reason to keep company with such loutish creatures. We are gaining numbers as more women walk away from them.

16. I disagree

I'd wager conservative women will still vote for whoever wins their nomination. It's not like these women who voted for McCain in 2008 didn't realize that Republicans hated women back then. This isn't a new tactic for Republicans. Some women find their tax cuts more important then their fundamental rights.

Shit, just look at GOProud... gay people in the Republican party!

Some people will just vote against their interests every time.
