Is it a Master or a Mini-Monet? This 11-year-old's paintings have already fetched £1.5m.

He is the art prodigy who sold out his first exhibition aged six. Kieron Williamson, from Norfolk, has become known as the ‘Mini-Monet’ and his landscapes are sought-after around the world, selling for up to £35,000 each.

Last year his total sales broke the £1.5?million mark, with one exhibition earning £250,000 in 20 minutes.

Kieron’s talent was discovered on a trip to Cornwall when he painted a coastal scene. Within a year, word of his gift had spread across the globe.

Here we have collected some of his recent works and put them alongside the art world’s most recognisable names. But do you know the difference between an Old Master and a young pretender?

These images of distant figures in harsh, snowy winters were painted more than 100 years apart. But which is a work by CLAUDE MONET, the father of impressionism, and which is by the Mini-Monet?

but if he's painting this well at 11, what will he be doing at 30? He could easily burn out on it and either live on the proceeds or use them to go into something completely different.

It is remarkable work for a little kid.

But at least he has talent. It's better than the parents who were passing off their kid's finger paintings as modern art and declaring her brilliant talent. Fools were actually paying big bucks for those, too.
