Eric Holder is seeking the death penalty for the Boston bomber, because the attack was a "false flag operation by Barry Soetero", designed to terrorize the public and convince us to "give up more of our freedoms." Obama will then "issue an EO doing away with the 22nd Amendment" so he can become "President-for-life" and rule the American people. If Tsarnaev lives, he will certainly divulge his role in the scheme, as well as implicate Obama.
it goes without saying - this is HUGH folks. And you know I'm SERIES. The story just makes too much sense not to be true. Call fucking Congress right fucking NOW. Wait, don't. They're probably in on it too.

(14,400 posts)and add to that how do you manage to stay near him without repeatedly kicking him in the crotch? You could justify it by saying the chemtrails or Bilderbergers made you do it.
(Actually it depresses me that I've apparently done so poorly in life that I work with an ignorant crotchstain like that.)

(5,756 posts)This machine has the oldest known complex gear mechanism and is sometimes called the first known analog computer,[13][14][15][16][17][18][19][20] although the quality of its manufacture suggests that it may have had undiscovered predecessors[21] during the Hellenistic Period. It appears to be constructed upon theories of astronomy and mathematics developed by Greek astronomers and is estimated to have been made around 100 BC. In 1974, British science historian and Yale University Professor Derek de Solla Price concluded from gear settings and inscriptions on the mechanism's faces that the mechanism was made about 87 BC and was lost only a few years later.[22] It is believed the mechanism was made of a low-tin bronze alloy (95% copper, 5% tin), but the device's advanced state of corrosion has made it impossible to perform an accurate compositional analysis.[23] All of the mechanism's instructions are written in Koine Greek,[9][not in citation given] and the consensus among scholars is that the mechanism was made in the Greek-speaking world.

I know some otherwise perfectly sane and intelligent Democrats who subscribe to the ideas purported in the film "Loose Change." My own otherwise perfectly sane and more-left-than-me husband will occasionally narrow his eyes at me and say, a propos of nothing, "what happened to Building Seven?

What happens when Obama leaves office without using his black army to take everyone's guns and send them all to FEMA camps?

(6,286 posts)You shake the crazy tree enough and some nuts will fall out. And this guy is a bona fide nut. The part that gobsmacks me is in his field (engineering) he's as competent and capable as you could hope for. Very intelligent people who fall for very stupid theories are some of the scariest people, in my opinion.

(8,694 posts)(a Republican wife of my sons friend) who proudly showed me a picture on the wall of her antique decorated home, an "actual photograph" of George Washington. Not a painting, "an actual photograph" she said. Mind you, she is educated and in her thirties. I pointed out that cameras were not invented yet back then and she looked at me with a blank stare, and I just gave up.

(12,667 posts)Camera Obscura was a very popular 18th century method of using mirror to project an image on paper that the artist would then quickly trace and then ink over for (in some cases) a very life-like, almost photographic quality sketch of the person. A lot of portraits started out that way, as the artist could get the basics of shape and tone down without having the subject sit for hours on end. I'm not sure but that several artists or illustrators may have gotten Washington to sit for a Camera Obscura sketch that later became a medal or a book plate or a poster, and what your friend has is the results of that sitting.
I'm in my 50's and building a Camera Obscura was a common 6th/7th grade science project when I was a kid, so I know the difference when someone tells me a picture was made from a Camera Obscura and a picture was from a Camera. Your 30 year old friend was probably feeling the effects of the dumbing down of public schools.
On edit - not to say she wasn't extremely confused or easily led by a scammer. But just pointing out she might have been proudly mistaken about what she heard if the picture in question might have been authentic from the period.
