If the creator of this bullshit poll were pummeled as part of the halftime special, I'd watch that. | |

(42,759 posts)I plan on making some guacamole earlier in the afternoon
so that it will be properly chilled and ready at game time.
Edit: To be honest, I was expecting to be watching New
England and San Francisco but that's the way it goes.

(1,508 posts)I don't have a real rooting interest though I'd rather have Seattle win if I have to pick a side. I went to the movies last year and had the theater to myself and really enjoyed that. I just don't know what I'm going to do.

(20,277 posts)We will probably head to the local watering hole for some festivities.
Go Broncos!

(20,600 posts)just because Seattle is in it. They get there so rarely, so I do hope they win. But then I think about all those stupid hyped overblown commercials, and then I don't think I could stand watching, it would get way too annoying.

(13,466 posts)from a dog agility trial, and I prefer the puppy bowl anyway, but I do enjoy watching things with my husband so if I get home in time and he has it on, I will sit there with him and knit.

(27,247 posts)I did try to watch the 1999 Super Bowl, but fell asleep during the 1st Quarter and didn't wake up until the game had ended.

(1,014 posts)I really don't give a rat's fart about it, though.
MANative
(4,112 posts)my Patriots got pummeled, and I'm a fan of neither Mr. Manning nor Pete Carroll, HC for Seattle (although I've been known to watch teams in whom I have no specific interest if it promises to be a well-matched game). I may dip in and out, and use it as an excuse to eat chicken wings and nachos, but I'll probably spend my focus on doing some writing.

(1,725 posts)to see Bruno Mars and Co. at halftime! Of course, snow could be an issue. But there's also THE GAME, which will go on.

(2,201 posts)I love the game. The commercials are fun (to like, or laugh at, or both). The food is always good, as is the company.

(3,093 posts)I don't care about the commercials or the half-time show. Yes I know how that makes me sound, and it's actually much worse than that.
