I didn't know it was starting so soon--yay!

(P.S. I heard on PBS that the BBC version was narrated by Sir David Attenborough. Nothing against Alec Baldwin--he does a ton of documentary narration and is very good at it--but why why why would they make that change just because of an American audience? Still, I'm super excited about seeing this. It's going to be awesome. Thank you so much for the reminder!)

There is nothing more exhilarating then going to all the hard to get to places of the world...the animals along the way, the mountains, the ice, waterfalls, and unexpected beautiful sites.

What's more we'd never see what we're watching on Frozen Planet.
They took a year for some of those scenes.
It was magnificent.

in all these wild places...Believe me, I am saving up as much as possible for these kinds of trips! My wife would rather go to the beach though! I will find a compromise...

that poor male polar bear. I'm only 1/4 way through the 2 hour premier and I can't wait to watch the rest.
