I had a friend from Germany who used to contrast to me the differences between the focus of feminists in Germany/Scandinavia and those is the US.

The approaches were so very different- look at the results.

Not that I'm surprised but from reading the Stieg Larsson books, you'd think the place uniquely Hellish for women or at least that that is a common view for Swedes to hold.

I guess they figure financial success is a good trade-off for being raped?

I suspect that if the rates of sexual violence were as honestly reported in the rest of the world as they are in Sweden, Sweden wouldn't really look all that bad in comparison. e

I suspect it's similar to their purportedly high suicide rates. Where other countries report "accidents", "accidental overdoses", "hunting accidents", etc in other not to jeapordise a religious funerals, the secular Nothern countries are more likely to honestly report suicides as such.

The methodology of this report is fascinating.

http://graphics.eiu.com/upload/WEO_report_June_2010.pdf

In the methodology of this study, if a pizza were delivered to my house and my wife ate two pieces and I ate six, the score would be 0.5 or "unequal". The obvious fair solution is for me to eat four and she also to eat four; this yields a score of 1.00. So far so good.

But what if she ate six and I ate two? The "pizza distribution index score" would be still be 1, exactly as if it actually were equal because they stop counting when women have most of something.

So an indicator of 1 for any country indicates superiority.

With that in mind, check out this;
