I do take your point, though--I've heard Blunt and Rubio (especially) bandied about.

I heard some idiot mention Condi, figuring she'd be a two-fer, a black and female candidate....problem is, they didn't consider that competence is usually preferred in candidates (rogues from Alaska notwithstanding...).
