Now is the time for us to figure out how to minimize the impact of citizens united on our 2016

primaries. Citizens united allowed billionaires to have outsized influence on the GOP primaries. Adelson, while not being able to make Gingrich palatable, was able to both make sure that war against Iran was the major foreign policy issue of the GOP campaign and prevent Santorum from winning the nomination. So, what can we do about Citizens united?

Let's assume that our first four states are the usual Nevada, Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina. We could have the Democrats remove delegates from winners who were supported by superpacs. We could buy up the final weeks of tv time to resell to campaigns but not superpacs. We are permitted to draw our own rules for primaries and caucuses. We must do something. Any suggestions.

replace them with good progressives, and overrule Citizens United v. FEC. Enact a GOOD, comprehensive, campaign-finance reform law. Start throwing out Repugs with the good trash, and go from there.
