Woman, 28, posts YouTube video saying teacher molested her

RIVERSIDE -- A 28-year-old woman posted a video on YouTube containing an emotionally-charged phone conversation with a former teacher she said molested her for years, starting when she was 12.

CBS Los Angeles reports that the alleged victim — who calls herself Jamie X — said the abuse started when she was a student at Chemawa Middle School in Riverside.

On YouTube Jamie X wrote, “I am 28 years old and have been waiting years to get up enough courage to report a teacher for sexually abusing me for years. When I finally got up enough courage to report her, I found out that the statute of limitations was up and she will never have to pay for the things that she did to me.”

Jamie X said that it was then she decided to call the woman — now a school administrator — and confront her about abuse allegations. The YouTube video was posted on January 17. The entire video lasts nearly 9 minutes. The call to the teacher, at her office, lasted about three minutes.

I thought it first had to be shown that the rapist was 'hawt' before such comments were posted (or a request for pics even, if none were provided with the story), but well done nonetheless.

Even beyond the statute of limitations because of her persistence in exposing the abuse.

Never occurred to me that it could be interpreted differently.

when boys are raped (by hot female teachers, of course).

Also - I thought she resigned(?) Either way, she deserves more punishment than just losing her job.

I read the statement that was sent to the abuse victim, and concluded she had been fired. I do think, though, that even if she resigned, she was probably told this action was one of two alternatives - the other obviously being fired.

No, it was not a sarcastic reversal. I tend to not post sarcastic comments if I can help it (although I am not always successful).

I'm a fan of using sarcasm to make a point when warranted, and goodness knows there hasn't been much headway in ending the idea that rape is ok if its a hot woman raping an underage male victim.

But, this thread is about a very positive outcome for the abuse victim - and this is what I think should be addressed here. There are plenty of threads addressing the issue you bring up.

Definitely not very positive. Does she seem happy in the video? I haven't watched it yet.

No punishment, no apology that I know of. Though the teacher did say she regretted raping the girl, so... I guess that's something.

before I understood what you are accusing Grateful of. I don't even understand how what he wrote gave rise to your accusation.
