Tea Party Time Warp
Found this from 1989, gives a hint as to where the Tea Party was before they were calling everything "SOCIALISM!" today.
A dozen young women stood barefoot and "pregnant" outside an anti- abortion Capitol press conference.
They had clothing and knapsacks stuffed under their sweatshirts to look pregnant. They had signs saying such things as "My Uterus is not Government Property."
An anti-abortion demonstrator loudly called them "lesbians."
A young man wearing a ponytail, an earring and a pro-choice T-shirt shouted, "I'm not a lesbian."
The anti-abortion demonstrator shouted back, "I know what you are, baby."
Last week, 5,500 rallied for abortion rights. Yesterday, 8,500 demonstrated against abortion.
Last week's pro-choice crowd was young and diverse. Yesterday's crowd was older, much larger and almost all white.
The state's leading anti-abortion lawmaker, Rep. Stephen Freind, R-Delaware County, told the gathering, "what a difference a week makes . . . when I look at you, there is no doubt about it, we are going to win."

Another fun fact, the state representative talking to the rally, Stephen Freind, is also on the record saying it's hard for women to conceive through rape, saying that when that happens they 'secrete a certain secretion' which is spermicidal, doesn't
that sound familiar?
