I can't find a single on on first page of GD.. OMG!!!! Allow me to rectify this...
For those who are mostly against porn (not rape/violent porn, just run of the mill porn), what's your opinion on homemade amateur porn and those who take part in it then put it online for free or for a small profit? I personally think it's a live an let live sort of thing. I'm willing to bet that even the most anti-porn person (from a liberal perspective, not a conservative perspective) would not wish to prevent people doing whatever they want in their own homes... However, I'm curious how you view people who do that, and if you think they should be encouraged (not forced) to not participate in such activities.

(115,103 posts)Women often allow themselves to be photographed, or photograph themselves, with the understanding that the pictures/video will be private.
If there is no mechanism which makes it obvious that the material was intended to be shared publicly, then it can't be assumed that it was.
In the cases where its obvious (people using their webcams to interact with people for money) then of course that isn't an issue, just to avoid that exception being waved about.

An Oregon couple who run a pornographic Web site called Wifey's World have riled some Scottsdale residents over plans to move their operation to north Scottsdale.
Residents who live in the high-priced 85259 ZIP code received a mailing this week warning of the impending move of Kevin and Sandra Otterson, a married couple known to their Internet fans as Hubby and Wifey.

"In order to protect your neighborhood and your children it is imperative that you take action now," warns the glossy mailer from the Northeast Valley Coalition Against Pornography, a previously unknown group that lists no contact information.
But it is not illegal to operate a Web-based adult business from a home, city staff members said.
