Chris Christie is heading to Florida this weekend to break bread with some major Republican benefactors, and some think the New Jersey governor has some explaining to do.

Politico's Ken Vogel caught up with some GOP donors who will be meeting with Christie in the coming days.

Christie will headline fundraisers on Saturday for Florida Gov. Rick Scott (R) and attend a dinner on Sunday evening at the North Palm Beach, Fla. residence of Home Depot co-founder and papal critic Ken Langone. The event at Langone's house, Vogel reported, "was billed to donors as a chance to rub elbows with Christie, not a fundraiser."

The events will give the donors a chance to discuss the ongoing George Washington Bridge scandal with Christie, and it sounds like they plan to take advantage of the opportunity.
