Maybe you are very young and don't remember the struggle for women's rights in the 60s and 70s. I do; I was there. If you think we are going to just roll over and let them take away whay we fought for decades ago, you are very, very wrong. Women are outraged and highly motivated over these developments, and we will be voting.

How many people is that? 10? 12? vs. literally millions who are registered and do vote. Your lazy acquaintances nevertheless will reap the benefits of the millions of us who will be out there voting and doing the heavy lifting. Or maybe in the meantime they'll get a clue that their own rights are at stake and will get off their dead asses and do something.

My question is actually just, WHY?

Do any of them even mention war, food shortages, unemployment, climate change? I truly don't understand why they're making womens rights, or denying rights, the issue above all else (imo).

If the public at large doesn't wake up with all of THIS being so publicly debated, I will have lost all faith in womankind. Not that I have that much left anyway with so many women that I know who vote Republican, but I am hoping that there will be a large percentage of Democratic women at the pools in November.

I know that *I* will be there, as will many women around my same age. We remember what things were like before Roe v. Wade and know what is at stake. I hope my age group has done a good enough job of conveying that importance to our daughters, etc.!
