I have a question about the sales of Marijuana in Colorado....

Seems like it's been very popular and that stores have been selling out on product. My assumption is that all that legal pot being sold has some sort of tax on it that goes to the state.

If that's the case think of the money the state of Colorado is raking in right now.

Seems kinda silly to continue the prohibition of Marijuana.

Some (10%) goes to policing the industry, the rest to schools and infrastructure.

And the potential for reducing the size of the prison population and crime in our state from the foreign drug cartels was a huge plus. Now less of our tax dollars get spent on MJ related arrests, court personnel, and prison related expenses. And a lot less minorities and youth in CO will stop getting arrest records that plague them their whole lives.

The state also projected nearly $600 million in combined wholesale and retail marijuana sales annually.

States that fight legalization and taxation of MJ are going to regret that position!

Implements of Death and Destruction leave the State to be replaced by Implements of Peace, Love, Dove. I bet the State will be better off in every respect.
