but does Christie just exude all the elements of the beat down bully of the school yard. From the first time I saw him he reminded me of every kick-down/kiss-up blowhard, bullying prick it has been my misfortune to run into.
My guess is there are many people who have been waiting in the tall grass for him.

(81,322 posts)That snark-ass stuff wasn't there so much today. He should try this persona on more often. Humility might make him more attractive if it were seen more often. But I seriously doubt he can break the habit. He's been a bully, and behaved like a bully, for far too long. It's a habit. And too many of us have seen too much of that in him to trust this now. This is a one-time thing, I suspect. I'm certainly not that impressed. And I certainly don't think he's had a "come to Jesus" moment.
