I have always despised bullies and is it just me,

but does Christie just exude all the elements of the beat down bully of the school yard. From the first time I saw him he reminded me of every kick-down/kiss-up blowhard, bullying prick it has been my misfortune to run into.

My guess is there are many people who have been waiting in the tall grass for him.

last few minutes, but it seemed like he was trying really hard to soften his personality. He's toast, imo.

That snark-ass stuff wasn't there so much today. He should try this persona on more often. Humility might make him more attractive if it were seen more often. But I seriously doubt he can break the habit. He's been a bully, and behaved like a bully, for far too long. It's a habit. And too many of us have seen too much of that in him to trust this now. This is a one-time thing, I suspect. I'm certainly not that impressed. And I certainly don't think he's had a "come to Jesus" moment.
