Says she knew Christie was behind this since it happened

(154,021 posts)But either he was extremely well coached (body language) or what he said is his truth.
The classic ticks of a liar were not there (eyes repeatedly opening and closing) but were replaced by new ones, (how many times do you need to check that tie gov?)
Damn, these days I watch these things with a different eye.
Hell Hath No Fury
(16,327 posts)another classic sign of misleading -- it would be fun to go back and note exactly what he was saying at the time.

(154,021 posts)And look the other way every time a pointed question was asked. He also looked overall extremely relaxed. Though he had to work to keep temper in check. And the bully question had a lot of cues of I am not happy I am getting asked that.
There are cues we all missed since we were not in the room. That is one thing I learned with the Filner mess. There was likely an air of tension in the room, and I told hubby, none seems to be standing. During the Filner scandal, even during his resignation, the way the camera angles were, you would not know he was surrounded. I am betting in a similar circus, actually worst, this close to a major news center.
Give me a sec and will look for one of the photo showing that, that we did not run.
Here, betting on a similar media circus, if not actually much worst

(16,327 posts)Unwilling/unable to look directly into the eyes of the questioner during key questions -- another form of shielding.
That Filner pic -- I imagine the Christie scene looked like that x10. I suspect much of the past day/evening was spent by him rehearsing for the inevitable press conference. Christie presented journalists with a whole lot to drill down on during that presser -- can't wait for to see the results.

(154,021 posts)and it was insane. Filner, ex congressman, 8th largest city, at the end of the line, nearest major news center LA.
This is a governor or a north eastern state, a spit from NYC, and planning to run for POTUS. I think it was worst than ten times as bad to be honest, I am betting (since it happened here) that many reporters were cooling heels outside watching the presser on the smart phone. It will be those PO'ed crews that will really start the digging.
I admit, it was nice to just watch and not have to worry about a deadline.
And I forgot, that attribution thing, that was my husband's photo. I was on the other side. I got a few shots, and let the other reporters in. I mostly got my phone photo for the facebook\twitter feed.

(297,323 posts)she did not mince words. I get the strong impression that she knows him all too well and isn't shy about saying exactly what she thinks.
