The GOP's heroes are going down one by one

for the count. They are self destructing in the face of a society and culture that is progressing at break-neck speeds. They have no way to cope, or deal with such changes, which is why they try to cling to past traditions as much as possible. Christy can try to deflect all he wants but the jig is up.

The teabaggers are a big reason why this is happening now. Hate is not a winning political platform.

The media liked him, but a lot of their party despised him.

Regardless, it's nice to see him go.
