Judge won't block GWB subpoena

http://www.northjersey.com/news/state/Hearing_to_quash_subpoena_for_ex_Port_Authority_appointee_kicks_of_day_of_hearings_in_GWB_controversy.html

A New Jersey judge will not stop a legislative committee from forcing a man at the center of lane closures on the approach to the George Washington Bridge to testify.

The judge says "the court does not sit in supervision over the Legislature."

David Wildstein, who gave the order to Port Authority employees to close three of the four entrance lanes to the bridge, was trying to quash a subpoena compelling him to testify before the Assembly’s transportation committee at noon today. The lawsuit was filed Wednesday after emails and text messages linked the decision to Christie’s staff.

Who heavily redacted the emails?

It seems like someone was setting up the fall guys/gals and trying desperately to limit the number of people implicated.

The only response for a government built on checks and balances.
