NC did have decent public schools when I was there. Unfortunately, they also had a demagogue in every pulpit and a great oversupply of pulpits, which is what kept evil men like Jesse Helms in office so long.
I just hope people are finally noticing that Republicans are their enemies, even if the preacher is enjoying all those faith based bribes to keep them voting Republican.
And yes, it's a total racket down there. That's why I left.
