Jeb Bradley (R-NH): "Romney helped another dog he had deliver puppies. He is a dog lover."

“To focus on Governor Romney’s dog, Seamus, is shameful,” said Jeb Bradley, a former GOP congressman from New Hampshire. Bradley recalled talking about dogs with Romney as they drove between town hall meetings this past summer. “He was telling me about helping another dog he had deliver puppies. .?.?. I walked away from it knowing that Governor Romney is a dog lover.”

Don't you realize that your apologia merely ensures that people still think dog-on-car whenever RawMoney's name is mentioned?

IMO, this asscarrot's half-assed defense is no different in spirit from those who attempted to convince others that Hitler wasn't such a bad sort, seeing that he appreciated art and loved dogs.

But Romney is having to work overtime and send his minions out again and again to try to neutralize it. The "he's a dog lover" assertion sounds very reminiscent of that vile human being's protestation the other day that because he judged the Miss America pageant, he's really a feminist or something, and not some misogynistic creep.

However, stories about President Obama's predecessor and his predilection for abusing animals (blowing up frogs, dropping his dog, etc.) disappeared without comment, so I figured Romney was in the clear as well. After all, it did happen several years ago.

For some reason, though, Romney doesn't seem to enjoy the same kid glove treatment that Bush the Stupider got.

the story was originally intended to be a pro-Romney tidbit because it was supposed to show that he is a no-nonsense problem solver or something. Instead it blew up in his face by showcasing his lack of compassion and tone-deafness.

While he might not have referred to the dog as a slut or prostitute, he doesn't really disagree.

My only hope is that when he wins we can change that law about him only being able to serve for TWO terms.
