And I understand why/if you don't care. I don't either, really, just found this amusing.
How A Wealthy, Clean-Cut Duck Dynasty Tricked The World For Publicity
In the wake of the recent homophobia and racism scandals surrounding A&Es popular so-called reality show Duck Dynasty, there is an important, little-known detail that should be remembered: its all fake
all of it.
Sources close to the show have time and time again leaked details that the show is literally scripted. Because of non-disclosure agreements, cameramen, and others who wish to go public with this information have proven unable to do so. As a result, without a name attached to such leaked information, many of these claims of inauthenticity are seen as lacking credibility.
But as the saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words. One thing that the so-called Duck Dynasty family cannot deny are family pictures taken before their fabricated reality show was scripted for them. These pictures all showcase a family devoid of backwoods attire: no camouflage, no face paint, no headbands, and no beards.

(111,339 posts)and realize these fuckwits are just confirming the Yankee prejudice that anyone outside of New Orleans is a drunken, snuff juice dribbling, cousin marrying, knuckle dragging coonass. They've tried to overcome that prejudice for years. Now these assholes have come along, climbed into fake beards, camo and makeup to push the state back to square one.

I will never, ever watch A&E again. Not that I do now, but at one time, it was actually a pretty good channel.

(771 posts)I don't think they hide from them. And they have always said the show is scripted, like all 'reality' shows. Before or after, I just don't get it. The popularity I mean. What is a show - them duck hunting in the woods? I have WAY too many cable channels to consider watching scripted reality shows about a duck family.
In the end they are the ones laughing - all the way to the computer keyboard and logging into bank accounts. Why there is a big following I may not know but then again I don't really care to know. It's like which sock on which foot in the morning. It could not matter less to me. There they are, storied 10 times a day in between 10 times a day Kardashian stories.
These things just aren't clickable for me - on Internet or with remote control.
