It's expensive. I saw it on the news and an oz is $320. I don't know the quality but here in Ca, a dealer, not medical, can get you an oz of the best stuff from $350 on up. I don't smoke pot but I do know people who do.

You may be living in a cannabis utopia, but for millions of Americans living in less cannabis-friendly locales, what's going on in Colorado looks pretty damned good.

10. In California, less than an ounce is an infraction like a speeding ticket

In California, less than an ounce is an infraction like a speeding ticket. Since it's legal, it should be cheaper, it's not hard to grow but I do wonder how much they tax it and I also wonder what the Feds are going to do since they still consider it illegal. I saw a store showing its wares on the news and the quality looked really good.

I also wonder what's going to happen to people who travel to states with their legal pot but the state they are traveling in considers any amount a felony. Nevada used to have a horrible reputation for prosecuting pot, I don't know how it is these days.

I'm still surprised that when legalizing pot came up on the ballot and it was defeated, in California of all places. In the 70's and early 80s, the cops wouldn't even bother with a ticket, they'd just make you poor it out and grind it into the ground. Then they check to see if you were OK to drive and that was it. Now with those new drunk driving commercials where they say buzzed driving IS drunk driving, I wonder where they're going with that. I don't want people to drive while drunk but even though a DUI is now .08%, they can still ding you if you blow a .04% which they'll call you impaired and I think we all know this has nothing to do with safety and everything to do with money.

a poorer human being without having grown up with his music. I'm the same age now as he was when he died.

It's certainly a perfect song for today in Colorado.
