Jeff Foxworthy...about half as funny as Gallagher if he didn't have those watermelons.

Jeff Foxworthy campaigns for Mitt Romney in the South
The State Column | Wednesday, March 14, 2012

Playing on the theme of his popular game show, “Are you Smarter than a Fifth Grader?” Mr. Foxworthy asked the crowd, “If you spend more money every year than you take in, is that good for the economy?” The crowd gave a resounding, “No!”

“Even fifth graders could figure that one out,” said Mr. Foxworthy.

In Alabama, Mr. Foxworth poked fun at Governor Romney’s hunting skills, comparing them to those of Dick Cheney, USA Today reports. Governor Romney joked to Mr. Foxworth, saying the he hoped Foxworth would be able to show him “which end of the rifle to point.” Mr. Foxworth replied: “That sounds pretty dangerous if you ask me. We may start with a BB gun and work our way up to a rifle.”

At his Mississippi appearance, however, Mr. Foxworthy did not shy away from poking fun at Mr. Romney’s wealth: “He’s like a regular guy and I’m thinking why would you even do this? I’d be on a yacht somewhere if I had your money.”

His signature line is all he has going for him. He hasn't changed his material in ages.

I saw one part of his act where he said something rather hilarious"

(in drunken early 20's talk) "Officer Johnson...I thought you said that you didn't want to come back out here tonight!!?!!"

he knows who to deliver a joke. The Mitt thing is not surprising - he also knows his audience.

Foxworthy just didn't match up.

And Gallagher? Jesus Christ, he's gone fundie right-wing batshit. You seen his routines lately?
