A few weeks ago, I posted that a conservative group wanted volunteers to help rewrite the Bible so that they could edit out the "liberal" parts - feeding the poor, charity, the usual liberal BS - now they are searching for a cover and may have found it in this:

... suddenly turn into phrase-parsing, psudo-pious legalists whenever the Bible says something they dislike (witness the numerous conservatives who claim Jesus would have been against welfare).
