I have a question and please think about you answer no high emotion justmore...would it change your decisions and possibly your voting intentions.
What if Hillary declares for the presidency and names Warren as her running mate?
Would it change anything for you? Or how you might vote?
Please explain.

(13,685 posts)But if they are both on the ticket, that is their choice. I perfer Warren as president and Grayson as VP. That way Grayson could take over as prez after 8 years. Imagine what 16 years of real progressives could do for our country?

(13,685 posts)That would be a shame. Certainly Billy would just love it.
It does seem some here on DU are pushing the 'Hillary is entitled".
Some did in 2008 and man it was a mess. Remember PUMA?

(25,183 posts)All that's missing is the announcement, and I expect that to happen about a year from now. Maybe sooner.

Then I would certainly look on her candidacy with a lot more favor.
But that's a lot of IFS.

(12,081 posts)unless you're Dick Cheney that is. So, no that wouldn't change anything. I still wouldn't vote for Hillary.

(22,271 posts)The V.P. is a useless office and would be complete waste for Senator Warren's great mind and talents. I'll never vote for Hillary Clinton because of her corporate-friendly policies. As to how I might vote? I vote for the person who most closely represents my progressive values.

(6,234 posts)And really, I don't care if she digs up FDR and carries his desiccated corpse around with her on tour.
Okay, I lied, that would be totally awesome. But barring that, no. She's had her chance to cozy up to liberals, and instead she got snuggly with Goldman Sachs.

(429 posts)so I'd probably vote for the Green Party candidate or someone similar, regardless of VP choice just to send a message.
But for those of you who live in purple swing states, voting for anyone but Hillary in the general election is enabling a Republican presidency. Just think carefully if it's really worth it protesting corporatist-lite to get corporatist-heavy. I'd be enthusiastically voting for Hillary.
