Hating war is easy. Stopping war is the hard part

I am discouraged by how little backlash 15 and counting Democratic Senators are getting for overtly threatening to undermine the current negotiations with Iran, directly acting against the pleading of Secretary of State John Kerry to lay off new sanctions talk against Iran at this still fragile stage of the talks.

whatever--that would seem logical, all they have to do is wait a few months. But the goal is to derail the plan. They're not THREATENING to undermine it, they're actively trying to blow it up. Because they don't want peace. They want Iran "taken care of" for good, mostly by our military.

And then the giggling warmonger laughs.

Those are the very words of George W Bush on Feb. 14, 2007, uttered at a press conference in which not a single of the callow, cowed press corpse saw fit to ask a follow-up. A courageous woman, Ms. Cindy Sheehan, tried to bring it to our nation's attention.

Money has been more important than peace since the Dulles Brothers ran the show for Ike and Dick.

Have we forgotten so much?

All that had to happen was for a D to get the White House to shut down the outrage. We have been quelled into submission by the MIC and TPTB.
