I am discouraged by how little backlash 15 and counting Democratic Senators are getting for overtly threatening to undermine the current negotiations with Iran, directly acting against the pleading of Secretary of State John Kerry to lay off new sanctions talk against Iran at this still fragile stage of the talks.

(46,416 posts)whatever--that would seem logical, all they have to do is wait a few months. But the goal is to derail the plan. They're not THREATENING to undermine it, they're actively trying to blow it up. Because they don't want peace. They want Iran "taken care of" for good, mostly by our military.

All that had to happen was for a D to get the White House to shut down the outrage. We have been quelled into submission by the MIC and TPTB.
