Here's a snapshot of how USA Coffee works with its Hawaiian coffee plantations to stay green:

The fresh coffee skins are composted and used for weed control or turned into mulch to replenish nutrients back into the soil.
We recycle all of the water used to wash the coffee fruit and roast the beans.
All green waste (branches and leaves)leftover from the coffee plant is turned to mulch and recycled year after year - not dumped in landfills.
We always recycle byproducts that are biodegradable.
