(68,644 posts)...after a fucker dropped a rock on his head from that bridge while the man, wife, and child were passing under it.
It was just terrible, but the guy survived though was bleeding like crazy.
Sad sad sad.
Anyway, yes, that's Central Park with the buildings along Central Park West in the background.

My grandparents lived on the Upper East side during the roaring 20's, 30's and 40's. I've got some interesting family history in NYC that I'll have to share with ya at some point I'm interested in doing a tour of the buildings and facilities where they worked.

(17,600 posts)The depth of that photo is stunning. It's a beautiful scene to begin with, but capturing the sense of depth and distance really makes it stand out. Hats off to the artist - I gave you my one vote I had to give.
Of course all of the photos are great and it is very hard to choose!

Blue Bayou is mine. I took it in late August in Mayakka park in Sarasota Florida. I'm glad you liked it.
