From what I've heard, you should call the insurer to make sure they received your application (there have been problems on the processing end), and ask them to let you know how and when you pay the premium.

I found the exact same plan on both Healthcare.gov and the other portal. Both portals had the same price per month and so I ended up using the agent portal because I do not mind him getting a commission on this transaction if it is not coming out of my pocket and he told me that his back office system worked. I did the application on Friday and I got a confirmation from the agent that Blue Cross has the application and is processing it on Monday.

I am eligible for 800+ but only using like $750+...I chose to apply it monthly rather than receive it as a credit on my tax return.

And, no I do not get anything at the end of the year if I do not use medical care...it goes for INSURANCE...not health care.

Be that that were so

Second Edit:

The Healthcare.gov information is correct.

There is a minor glitch in the Silver plans. Because some of us get reduced costs in the plan. The thing is that the insurance companies don't have our information until we sign up. So if you ask the insurance company about the plan you want you can end up being told the wrong thing.

Anyways. Glad you found a plan that works for you.I looked at it too but think I am going with the Total Health Care USA Inc. Totally You plan.

...so who's paying for it?

I am all for social responsibility, but when I see people gloating about $0.37 premiums it just reeks of the "f* you I got mine" mentality that is so often decried here.

Costs didn't go down, you just aren't the one paying. So who is?
