Snow Diving Fox - a hard way to find a snack.


This Snow Diving Fox demonstrates the amazing skills used to hunt for mice in deep snow. The fox has amazingly sensitive hearing and when combined with a built in magnetic like compass he plots a course like a ballistic missile to target the mouse hidden beneath the snow.

we see them crossing the frozen Mississippi in winter sometimes......just a beautiful animal. Thanks for posting this.

My Border Collie "Pearl" does this...but I have only witnessed her coming up with a rodent ONE time!
