Replaced by some show called "Diverse LA". Anybody know what happened?
Well, this is just swell....

(20,851 posts)there attempts to tape delay Ed Shultz etc didn't go well. The time change conflict hurts the LA market but I imagine is better for Thom. 10-1 west coast doesn't exactly mean the best marketing wise. Seems like the station lost a huge amount of talent the past 2 years. It is hard to listen to after Stephenie signs off. Wish they'd move Milloy to a better time slot to cover.

(14,887 posts)in the LA market. If he is moving his program later in the EST, then he loses the good time slot he had out here. I was apprehensive when he moved from the west coast but I guess he heard the siren song in DC. I'm sorry he has left the LA market.

(3,541 posts)the am1090 out of Seattle line up was different....
Ed was on when Thom used to be and Thom was on in Ed's slot.
Just checked their website, but it still has the old lineup...

(21,925 posts)That new time was as of Monday. FSTV switched his tv show around. And I think his tv and radio shows are broadcast together.

(26,001 posts)Apparently, on Hartmann's end, they wanted to become an afternoon show, but don't know why KTLK couldn't run it on delay, for example..
Basically, KTLK keeps going downhill. Alas.

(30,674 posts)a lot of radio stations aired the live versions at the same time, or delayed it do locals couldn't call in real-time. Now that's fixed--however, still haven't checked KTLK to see if that's where Tom went
on edit, Thom Hartmann is completely off the KTLK schedule, replaced by Diverse LA. Local diverse programming is good, but did they have to pull Thom for it? Crap.

(14,887 posts)Tried to listen yesterday; tried again today w/ a self described 'social conservative'. Nope. Just Stephanie from 6-9 then OFF it goes.
Their broadcast area is much larger than LA anyway.

(20,851 posts)gave it 2 days now I'm done. Howard Clark is better and that's not a compliment to that show by any means.

(26,355 posts)I believe the only difference on my local radio station is that he's now live, instead of on tape-delay.
