Glad you're here. And yep indeed. He was never anything other than resident bush to me. And nobody covered the uproar about the inaugural parade that day that was stopped by protesters asserting the election was stolen. My husband and I went to see "Fahrenheit/911" and were so outraged. As we walked to the parking lot I said - "do you remember seeing ANY coverage of that on Inauguration Day? ANY at all?" He didn't. I sure didn't either. OUTRAGED!!!! And yeah, they called us Sore Losermen and said we should shut up and get over it.

Well, I think they oughta wear that around themselves, now. And until the end of President Obama's second term. THEY need to shut up and get over it.

Inside the Saudi 9/11 coverup

by Paul Sperry

Is the federal government protecting the Saudis? Case agents tell me they were repeatedly called off pursuing 9/11 leads back to the Saudi Embassy, which had curious sway over White House and FBI responses to the attacks.

Just days after Bush met with the Saudi ambassador in the White House, the FBI evacuated from the United States dozens of Saudi officials, as well as Osama bin Laden family members. Bandar made the request for escorts directly to FBI headquarters on Sept. 13, 2001 — just hours after he met with the president. The two old family friends shared cigars on the Truman Balcony while discussing the attacks.

---
Astonishing as that sounds, few lawmakers in fact have bothered to read the classified section of arguably the most important investigation in US history.

-----
As the frustrated Joint Inquiry authors warned, in an overlooked addendum to their heavily redacted 2002 report, “State-sponsored terrorism substantially increases the likelihood of successful and more lethal attacks within the United States.”

Their findings must be released, even if they forever change US-Saudi relations. If an oil-rich foreign power was capable of orchestrating simultaneous bulls-eye hits on our centers of commerce and defense a dozen years ago, it may be able to pull off similarly devastating attacks today.

Members of Congress reluctant to read the full report ought to remember that the 9/11 assault missed its fourth target: them.

Paul Sperry is a Hoover Institution media fellow and author of “Infiltration” and “Muslim Mafia.”

It wasn't a common narrative obviously, but that report was referenced from time to time, by people who was likely in the position to know. Mysterious.

I can't come up with a reason. The New York Post is a Republican propaganda machine. Have the Saudis stepped on someone's toes? Will this limit the Saudis influence, because that's all I see coming out of this? For this story to grow legs the M$M will have to get behind it and I don't see the corporate controlled media doing that.

Then some time later Bush said he didn't spend much time thinking about Osama bin Laden when asked about it. There was such a Kabuki dance about this issue all through his administration. This was the reason many Americans, who were trying to figures this out, started the MIHOP(made it happen on purpose) and LIHOP(let it happen on purpose) conspiracy theories about this. Let's hope the whole truth comes out sometime before it's too late to send the whole lot of them to the International Criminal Court for war crimes.

on this matter. He did speak out about this years and years ago, but frankly he's been silent until now. Maybe he was "silenced", dunno. but I'm happy to see the reports and to have him speaking up again.

Anyone care to wager a bet that we'll never see him on Charlie Rose before long?

I don't care if you're right about what really happened either. Kidding, I'm in the ranks of the doubters.

I wonder if/when we'll know about how much hanky panky went on behind the scenes and to which level it rose.

Of course we've been lied to.

a cover-up of information about those who allegedly aided in the 9-11 terrorist attacks, for such cover-up would seem a tad more of an impeachable offense that lying about a stain on a blue dress having nothing to do with performance of official duties. But what one person know?

and that top Saudi officials did help the 911 hijackers and Bushco knew about it and aided the Saudi's in getting out of this country during the air traffic shutdown.

How do you think the Repugs in office will react to this? Will they come to the aid of Bushco or will they turn on Bushco?

to believe Bushco would cover up Saudi involvement in 911. If there was Saudi involvement in 911 there was Bushco involvement in 911. Simple as that. Two peas in one pod.

If the Bush Administration were to have their crimes exposed, the righties might rally and claim Bushco was justified and right to do as they did. Of course that claim would be absurd.

I'm not finding any reports of this resolution in the mainstream news--except the NY Post.

Premature attacks on the messenger only bring publicity to the message.

If it doesn't go away, the attacks can begin. The careers of Sen. Daschle, Sen. Dayton, Sen. Cleland, and Sen. Wellstone show what can happen.

It is sickeningly true.
There is so much evidence, on a plethora of traitorous activities.... on a previous post about America being a police state via the NSA, I was informed that since I could post my views, obviously I was insane.....

Has he seen the light?

Is it payback for Blair fooling around with his wife?

Or does he think that he can now cause more chaos by revealing the truth rather than suppressing it?

Whatever his motives, I think there should be a Truth and Reconciliation Committee that opens the books on 9/11, the torture, the wars, the spying, all of it. Get it all out in the open.

No criminal investigation of 911.
No accounting for the money and logistical support the 911 attack required.
Heavily censored reports.
Bush and Cheney: testify together, not under oath, no recordings or notes allowed.

Nothing to see here … move along please.

I am always amused, (in a black humour kind of way) at the rowdy celebrations on DU whenever a story comes out showing criminal or traitorous behaviour in some asshole right wing neo-con. Lines like "the dominoes are falling!" "I can't wait to finally see ____ go to jail!" etc..

Fact is the news media in America, in North America, have become ultra sophisticated in their propaganda mission. They have developed a Pavlovian response conditioning in the majority of their audience. If a story is given the short shift or more likely not even brought up, then it means its not that important or not true. If its repeated ad nauseam "Benghazi Benghazi Benghazi!!!" it becomes the truth.

If a tree falls in the forest and a corporate-bound news reporter sees it, it will not be heard about.

Instead they go into the forest and cut down a nice big noticeable tree, that wouldnt' have fallen on its own, with a chainsaw and then drag it out of the woods for everyone to see.

122. Michael actually demonstrated the BFFE-Saudi-911 link
Tue Dec 17, 2013, 04:46 PM
Dec 2013

years ago in his film Fahrenheit 911.

Geez, 15 of the 19 hijackers were from Saudi Arabia as was Osama. The other 4 were from Yemen, UAE and Egypt... not an Iraqi among them and Iraq had been under awful US led, UN sanctions since the 1st Bush war. Thus, Iraq was no possible or plausible threat. When Darth Cheney and others of that evil cabal would populate the Sunday morning shows in 2002 and 2003 justifying action against Iraq by purporting a link between the 19 and some vague meeting in Iraq or with an Iraqi, I'd scream at the TV: they learned to fly HERE in the US, so by that logic are we going to bomb ourselves.

The truth has been apparent all along despite the lying deceit of the cabal and the complicit media.
