Because it's the exact same thing.

"Because all you’re doing is reading someone else’s words to people"

Again...WTF? What does that have to do with a teleprompter? So if you write your own speech, entirely, and load it into the teleprompter...they somehow become someone else's words because they're displayed on a teleprompter?

Catholics banned owning the Bible and people reading it for centuries. The only people allowed to read it were priests who "interpreted it" for people.

It's not surprising that Santorum is against education. I assume his plan is that he is the sole interpreter of the written word.
