Florida mom took babies along for armed robbery, deputies say

... a young woman from Marion County didn't leave her kids behind when she joined two alleged accomplices in an armed robbery of someone she knew early Wednesday, deputies said.

Alaina Danielle Johnson, 20, of Ocala, had her two babies with her in a truck when she two others —Matthew Allison Thomas, 18, and a 17-year-old boy— pulled up to a home at about 12:30 a.m.

Thomas and the teen got out of the truck and robbed the victims while holding a gun on them – sometimes pointing the gun directly at the head of one of the victims, according to the Marion County Sheriff's Office.

"The suspects took cash, marijuana and a paintball gun,'' the Sheriff's Office said in a report.

I've been told, since I've never paid money to intentionally get in the line of fire of one of those things.

I've paid many a time for the experience.

Once we raised money for my company's charity, by my coworker and I intentionally standing at about 20 paces (big ones), and charging folks 2 bucks a ball to try and tag us in the ass. We raised some money.

File this one under "Really stupid criminals".
A local radio station has the "Daily Dumbass award" every day. This one should make it.

Because, the details sound like she wanted to be caught. They attacked a known person, who, not surprisingly, recognized her.

...in preparing their children for a career.

Step Four: EXPLORE CAREERS

Career exploration is a great activity for parents and children. By using the tools in this step, you can get detailed information about any occupation. This includes salaries, educational requirements, and the current trends in employment. Your child should use all the things he has learned about himself to interpret this career information. As your child explores careers, he will begin to learn about all the factors that he should consider before choosing an occupation. How hard will it be to get a job? Is the salary adequate? What things will I have to do on the job? Extensive career exploration will give your child a much better understanding of the world of work.
