What Republicans don't want: Florida woman cries tears of joy after getting $3.19 Obamacare policy

'I just instantly burst into tears': Medical worker finally gets insurance on Obamacare website

JoAnn and Eric Smith of Clearwater, Fla., were able to sign up for health insurance on the federal exchange Monday after months of trying.

It took two months, weekly visits to the jammed-up federal website and a half-dozen phone calls, but JoAnn Smith finally got health insurance Monday. It’ll only cost her $3.19 a month to cover herself and her husband.

“I just instantly burst into tears,” she says.

.....................................

“This morning the most loveliest of helpers answered the phone,” Smith told NBC News later Monday. “She said there was a mistake on original application, in that it said I was eligible for workplace insurance. She re-did the whole thing in record time and I don’t have to copy my paystubs and get a letter from work.”

Now she's not free to gamble her life on not receiving timely medical care; where's the excitement in that?!

in the US, much faster in France, a three hour from the time I walked into a medical facility in France and upon returning to the US I had to wait 12 days to see an orthopedic. The lines was not in France, they are here in the us without ACA.

Hopefully America will remember who passed it and who tried to repeal it 40+ times.

My daughter finally called the 800 number and got someone to help her sign up. My daughter is self employed and pays $325 to Blue Cross for shitty coverage. Her insurance is her second most expensive bill after her rent. She got signed up and her ACA insurance is going to cost her $50 a month after the credits are applied. That means she will not have to stay awake at night worrying about how she will get enough money to pay the electricity bill or to buy groceries. Think what this will do the economy if so many people have the same result.

The high insurance payments and high student loan payments suck money out of the economy. Once the ACA is up and going, I hope the student loan problem can be fixed. Both are win, win for the American people and for our economy as a whole.
