I just posted this on my FB page after someone brought up Martin Bashir. I'm going to call and write and and join the group, "Bring back Martin Bashir"
We all should start a telephone and writing campaign to get him back on the air. (212) 664-6605 http://www.msnbc.com/contact
I just found this group on their website. You can join and post your comments. It may be good if you say you will no longer watch MSNBC, (whatever, just say it) because companies don't want to loose patrons. http://bashirlive.groups.msnbc.com/

Maybe I'll start a similar group here on FB to get him back.

(27,137 posts)And Japan just finished setting up their censorship laws to shut up anymore truth leaking out about Fukushima. As if people will still believe these clowns after their body parts start falling off.
Here, in the corporate media marketplace of the US, ideologues who inherited major bucks from their parents (and who therefore, are not quite fully-evolved humans having never suffered, felt pain nor gone without a meal or a trust fund), have first dibs on all humans in the marketplace. It's their marketplace.
- Well, unless they're part of the national security structure.

(10,303 posts)It all depends on how he resigned. If he truly made the decision himself, I think we should be petitioning Martin himself, as well as MSNBC.
If he was asked to resign then ... I think that a petition is a waste of time. Petitioning MSNBC after Keith Olbermann quit didn't do much good.
Plus, after MSNBC, where could he go? I don't think he would go to RT. I see him ending up at something like BBC Newsnight, or HardTalk on BBC World. He is a skilled interviewer. .. this is his best skill... his next role imo must be apolitical, unless he does come back to MSNBC.
If it's to get him back, he needs to be asked.
