more like an oxymoron.

Mostly what they say seems to be rationalization for their wealthy lifestyles at the expense of everyone else. There is nothing logical about 1 or 2 families controlling 1/2 the wealth in the country while so many are hungry/homeless or obviously struggling to stay afloat.

One party makes a fucking mess of things, and then the other party has to fix it and take all the blame...

For example, take the ACA when it becomes a stellar success and they realize they can't do shit. They'll start
saying it was a GoP idea, they are the reason its workings, Dems were making it fail.... And yet they were the ones
hampering it at every turn..

And with the exception of the LAST * budget, hasn't every year under President Obama had a deficit more than twice as large as any other year under *?

In the current economy I don't have a big issue with deficit spending, but I don't think those concerned about the deficit should be doing a whole lot of horn-tooting either.

but, when Bush was president, the Iraq & Afghanistan wars didn't count against the budget deficit. They were special "emergency" supplemental funding bills. When Obama became president, that process at least became more transparent.

Their reasoning has nothing to do with logic. Never has and never will. It's not about what is best or what is even true. It's about winning the battle of the day, no matter what is logical or provable or even rational. They don't care about facts and they have no shame. They are NOT like us and we are not like them. For them, lies are their primary weapon. The sooner we understand that, the sooner we can maybe start to win some of these battles.

For the millions of self-foot-shooting, angry idiots who repeat the lies, it's mostly about listening to their preacher and/or Fox.

They don't know how deluded they are because they trust the wrong sources.

Not that that gives them any excuse to be such racist pigs.

one of the gab shows had Ricky Brownfroth (come on, we were smart enough here in PA to get rid of him - who keeps giving him platforms to speak?) having the nerve to complain about Obama spending our way to hell.

Could somebody please do this original post on a quilted background and give it to Ricky "family values" Brownfroth?

They use it as something to beat the Democratic President over the head with to prevent him from spending money on social programs.

When a Republican is in office and the money is going to be squandered on the military, then it is a shameless money-grubbing feeding frenzy.
