Mayor Rob Ford says he didn't know he was taking photo with Hells Angels

Rob Ford had wanted to talk about the launch of his third annual holiday toy drive, but by the question and answer period of the press conference, the mayor was stuck explaining why he’d been photographed alongside two alleged members of the Hells Angels motorcycle gang.

“I take pictures with every single person that wants to take a picture with me. So if they put it up on the website what can I do? I wasn’t aware that I was taking a picture with the Hells Angels,” Ford said.

...is why would a Hell's Angel want to have a picture taken with him?

Generally, one has their picture taken with politicians who they support, not those who legislate a contrary agenda. I wouldn't go out of my way to have my picture taken with bush the lesser because I don't want to be associated with his political views. Obviously, these Hell's Angels wanted to be associated with Ford's agenda.

he's trying to help kids and he got sideswiped.

I can imagine the bikers saw the mayor at the Bills game on Sunday, recognized him or were told who he was, and thought it would be a kick to be photographed with the most public crack head of the moment. Who can blame 'em? Ford can be a ridiculous human being.

But criminy, don't divert attention from toys for kids in order to play a silly game of "who da mayor schtupping?"

6. Yeah. But it's sad the media will divert attention to something other than toys for kids. . .

What's wrong with posting with motorcycle enthusiasts?

(That's an older meaning of "one percent" than OWS, for the confused: the alleged 1% of motorcyclists that are "antisocial" or whatever. Also, very very different from "five percenters&quot

11. The original meaning of "One Percenter"

The American Motorcycle Association used to claim 99 percent of motorcyclists were law-abiding citizens and one percent were criminals. The Angels enjoy the reputation of being hardened guys, so they started billing themselves as the "One Percent."
