You've come a long way, baby -- or have you?

An archery set marketed to girls. It's got pink colors and it's called the "Heartbreaker." The product line is called "Rebelle" a play upon "belle" which means "beautiful" a decidedly feminine implication but one that is meant to break stereotypes, hence the "rebel" allusion.

Is it empowering? Is it exploitative? Is it glorifying violence?

I was a great shot with a bow the few times I've been to an archery range.

I'm not discounting your opinion, I'm just looking for a more thorough discussion.

I used to do it with darts. If I had a daughter and she wanted to do it, I would rather she took up archery than guns.
